Risk factors for Type 1 diabetes - more common in whites -cold climates -viruses -infant diet- infants who were breastfed and didn’t start eating solid foods too early are less likely to develop type 1 diabetes |
Risk factors for Type 2 diabetes -strong genetics- (stronger than type 1)-obesity -eating too much fat -not exercising enough |
